DEMAK, cinta-news.com — Pihak terkait telah menyelesaikan kasus kekerasan guru terhadap siswa di SMP Negeri Karangawen, Kabupaten Demak, secara kekeluargaan.Mediasi berlangsung di Mapolres Demak, Kamis (12/6/2025), dengan menghadirkan orang tua korban, guru berinisial DM (58), serta sejumlah pihak pendamping dari sekolah dan dinas terkait.
“Hari ini pihak orang tua siswa menyerahkan permohonan tersebut dan langsung bertemu di Polres Demak. Kedua belah pihak telah sepakat menyelesaikan masalah ini secara kekeluargaan,” jelas Kasatreskrim Polres Demak, AKP Kuseni, Kamis.
AKP Kuseni menambahkan, keputusan damai tersebut berdasarkan permohonan dari pihak sekolah yang meminta kesempatan mediasi.
Setelah bermusyawarah di Balai Desa, kedua belah pihak sepakat berdamai secara kekeluargaan dengan kesepakatan yang difasilitasi kepala desa.
“Intinya tidak dilakukan proses secara hukum, atau diselesaikan di luar dari proses hukum, dan kedua belah pihak sudah sepakat seperti yang tertera di dalam surat kesepakatan tersebut,” ujarnya.

Aksi kekerasan tersebut terjadi pada Selasa (10/6/2025) dan terekam kamera hingga viral di media sosial.
Dalam video tersebut, guru DM terlihat menendang seorang siswa. Orang tua korban melaporkan langsung kasus kekerasan tersebut ke Unit PPA Polres Demak pada 15 Juni 2024 dengan membawa bukti luka medis dan rekaman CCTV.
“Hari Rabu kemarin, kami telah melakukan penyelidikan dan menyimpulkan bahwa, fakta perbuatan itu ada,” tegas Kuseni.
Ia menegaskan, guru harus sepenuhnya menghindari kekerasan fisik maupun psikologis terhadap siswa, sekalipun menghadapi anak berkebutuhan khusus atau yang menunjukkan perilaku sulit. Sebagai gantinya, pendidik wajib menerapkan pendekatan edukatif seperti positive reinforcement dan restorative justice.
“Guru tidak boleh melakukan kekerasan kepada siswa dengan alasan apapun,” tegasnya.
Widarto (41), orang tua siswa korban, menyatakan menerima permintaan maaf dari guru pelaku meskipun dengan berat hati.
“Secara kekeluargaan saya terima minta maaf-nya, tapi pelaku memenuhi tuntutan itu,” kata Widarto.
Ia berharap anaknya dapat kembali belajar dengan tenang dan nyaman di sekolah yang sama.
“Yang penting anaknya nyaman di sekolah,” ujarnya.
