Gas yang ada di dalam ban ketika mengalami pirolisis memiliki suhu yang tinggi.
Ketika gas ini bertemu dengan bahan bakar, akan terjadi percikan api yang dapat membesar.
Ahmad Wildan, Senior Investigator KNKT, menyarankan pengecekan sistem rem sebelum beroperasi sebagai langkah pencegahan, mengingat pirolisis berawal dari sistem pengereman.
