Kabar mengejutkan ini langsung mendapatkan konfirmasi dari Corporate Communication Manager PT Djarum, Budi Darmawan. Ia membenarkan duka yang kini tengah dirasakan oleh keluarga besar produsen rokok kretek terkenal itu. “Keluarga Besar PT Djarum sedang berduka cita yang sangat dalam atas wafatnya Pak Michael Bambang Hartono, Kamis 19 Maret 2026 pukul 13.15 waktu Singapura,” ujarnya melalui sebuah pesan singkat yang cepat menyebar, Kamis (19/3/2026).
