Cinta-news.com – Bencana datang tanpa undangan! Permukiman warga di Desa Longkoga Barat, Kecamatan Bualemo, Kabupaten Banggai, Sulawesi Tengah (Sulteng), porak-poranda diterjang keganasan abrasi pantai. Ombak besar benar-benar mengamuk dan menghantam pemukiman warga tanpa ampun!
Plt Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Sulteng, Asbudianto, membeberkan kronologi mengerikan ini. Ia menjelaskan, abrasi mematikan ini dipicu oleh gelombang super tinggi yang secara membabi buta menerjang Dusun I dan Dusun II. Bayangkan, selama kurang lebih empat jam lamanya, deburan ombak terus menggempur daratan tanpa henti!

“Gelombang raksasa itu datang dan langsung menggila! Kami dapat laporan bahwa ombak menghajar permukiman warga di wilayah pesisir dengan kekuatan luar biasa, hingga membuat warga berhamburan menyelamatkan diri,” ujar Asbudianto dengan nada prihatin saat dikonfirmasi awak media.
30 Rumah Warga Hancur Lebur!
Gelombang pasang yang mengamuk tersebut tidak hanya membuat warga ketakutan, tetapi juga memorak-porandakan sejumlah rumah di kawasan pesisir. Data sementara yang berhasil dihimpun BPBD Sulteng menunjukkan angka yang mencengangkan. Sebanyak 30 unit rumah warga harus rela rusak dengan tingkat kerusakan yang bervariasi.
Dari total tersebut, tujuh rumah di antaranya benar-benar mengalami kerusakan berat. Bahkan, dua rumah di antaranya dilaporkan rusak total atau rata dengan tanah! Warga hanya bisa pasrah melihat rumah mereka digilas keganasan alam. Sementara itu, 10 rumah lainnya mengalami rusak sedang dan 13 rumah sisanya mengalami rusak ringan.
Bukan cuma rumah warga, infrastruktur desa pun ikut menjadi korban. Tanggul pantai di Dusun II sepanjang sekitar 30 meter dilaporkan mengalami rusak sedang. Tanggul penyelamat itu jebol diterjang ombak, membuat air laut semakin leluasa masuk ke pemukiman.
116 Jiwa Terburai dan Terpaksa Mengungsi!
Dampak dari bencana abrasi ini sungguh meluas. BPBD Sulteng mencatat setidaknya 116 jiwa warga ikut merasakan langsung getah dari bencana ini. Mereka adalah para korban yang rumah dan harta bendanya ludes atau rusak diterjang ombak.
Dari jumlah yang cukup banyak itu, rupanya terdapat 12 warga lanjut usia yang ikut terdampak. Belum lagi dua balita yang tidak berdosa ikut menjadi korban keganasan alam. Sisanya, sebanyak 102 warga dewasa dan anak-anak lainnya juga ikut terburai dari rumah mereka.
Akibat kerusakan yang begitu parah, sebanyak tujuh kepala keluarga terpaksa mengambil keputusan pahit untuk mengungsi secara mandiri. Mereka berhamburan dan berlindung ke rumah kerabat yang dinilai lebih aman dari jangkauan ombak. Meski demikian, BPBD memastikan bahwa dalam kejadian nahas ini, tidak ada korban jiwa yang dilaporkan. Namun, trauma mendalam pasti membekas di hati para penyintas.
“Tujuh kepala keluarga harus lari terbirit-birit dan mengungsi ke rumah kerabat. Tapi syukurlah, tidak ada laporan korban jiwa dalam kejadian yang sangat mencekam ini,” ujar Asbudianto melegakan.
BPBD Turun Gunung! Asesmen dan Koordinasi Langsung Digelar
Merespons bencana ini, BPBD Sulteng langsung bergerak cepat. Mereka tidak tinggal diam. Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) BPBD Kabupaten Banggai langsung dikoordinasikan dan diterjunkan ke lokasi terdampak. Mereka langsung melakukan asesmen atau penilaian cepat di lokasi kejadian untuk mengetahui secara pasti kebutuhan mendesak para korban.
Dari hasil pendataan awal di lapangan, BPBD berhasil mengidentifikasi sejumlah kebutuhan mendesak yang harus segera dipenuhi. Warga saat ini sangat membutuhkan selimut untuk menghangatkan diri, pakaian layak pakai, serta logistik penanganan bencana untuk bertahan hidup. Lebih dari itu, mereka juga membutuhkan bantuan untuk perbaikan rumah yang rusak.
Selain kebutuhan jangka pendek, pemerintah juga berencana membangun tanggul atau talud pengaman pantai di Dusun I sepanjang sekitar 360 meter. Langkah ini diambil agar bencana serupa tidak kembali terulang di masa depan dan warga bisa tidur tenang tanpa dihantui rasa takut.
“Saat ini gelombang laut memang mulai berangsur menurun. Tapi kami tidak mau lengah. Kami imbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada terhadap potensi gelombang tinggi susulan. Terutama saat air laut pasang, jangan coba-coba mendekati pantai,” tegas Asbudianto mengingatkan.
